History
“Our school has been a beacon of knowledge, nurturing young minds with wisdom, values, and a deep understanding of their origin —building not just students, but generations of achievers.”
Maheshwari Public School—a name at the zenith of education—initiated its journey in July 1977 and established a firm foundation as an independent institution in July 1978. Governed by the ECMS, our school has been a hallmark of academic excellence, shaping young minds and inspiring future leaders. December 1996 holds special significance in the history of MPS, as on this day a new sapling was sown at Sector-4, Jawahar Nagar. This sapling has now flourished into a strong, protective harbor, imparting quality education and moral values to its students.
Being a proud part of the ECMS, MPS has a legacy of glorious 48 years, developing traditions, practices, and a strong work ethos. The intellectual and seasoned visionaries of ECMS realized that boys and girls must move forward together in an independent world. Thus, the idea of transforming the all-boys institution into a co-educational school came into being. The shift to co-education has brought new energy and enthusiasm to our school enabling us to provide a more holistic education to our students. MPS has witnessed remarkable growth after this transition.
In the present globalized world, the role of education must be geared to address emerging challenges. MPS has shaped itself into a world-class educational hub, always ready to transform every opportunity into success. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), it prepares students for the 10+2 pattern of examinations, offering both Science and Commerce streams. The school also encourages active student participation in extra-curricular activities through NCC, Scouts, clubs, inter-house events, and inter-school competitions.
